History

Originally, Nakajima Sangyo Co., Ltd. was a forged products manufacturer established in 1929 in Gotanda in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo. The factory was later moved to Keihinjima island in Ohta Ward. For the last 80 years up to now, Nakajima Sangyo has been manufacturing and selling industrial machines and parts for factory facilities and marine vessels as the pioneer in "specialised forged products manufacturer". It was not from the geographyical fact that the company was situated among the well-known factory zones along the Tokyo Bay coastal region, but based on the long-standing experience in dealing with the "pollution issues" in the coastal region, an "Environment Division" was newly established in Takanawa in Minato Ward. With the vision of this business expanding, the Division was incorporated as a separate company in July, 2009. Ten years after the establishment, our head office and its manufacturing were relocated to Yokohama City in April 2019.
